Today’s Apple Event – The Beat Goes On

Today at 10:00am Pacific, Steve Jobs will take the stage at the Moscone West venue in San Francisco. The rumor mill is in full motion as to what Steve will announce today. Judging by the iPod ad-like silhouette graphics used on the invitations, you can bet that there will be iPod and iTunes announcements.

I’m not going to repeat any of the rumors here. I already own an iPhone on a 2-year contract with AT&T, so I don’t think Apple will announce anything that I need to rush out and buy. But that doesn’t stop me from being interested.

Now the sad part. Since I live on the east coast of the United States, the event starts at 1:00pm local time. This means that I will be in meetings and unable to watch the live blogs. I will be updating the blog later today with the highlights from the event, but I’m sure that you’ll already know everything by then.
